Mt Skene

CityWest are running at Mt Skene trip in August 2026. The spots are strictly limited to 10 cars as per the permit conditions to go up Mt Skene.

The trip as per the schedule starts on Friday to arrive in Jamieson, and then on Saturday head up Mt Skene, and return back to Jamieson for one more nights camp and then home on Sunday.

If you have family members who may sturggle camping, you do have the option to stay at the Jamieson Caravarn park with full faciltiies which is only about 10 – 15 minutes form the camp location.

Where we’ll go
We will be travelling up to Mt Skene to drive in the snow.
Camping at Skipworth Reserve Jamieson, which is suitable for all forms of camping

Starting Friday 7/8/2026 to Sunday 9/8/2026

People are welcome to come camping and socialising without driving on this trip

A second trip “camping” could be organised for those wishing to socialise only

Details
It is 54 KM to Mt Skene from Skipworth Reserve Mostly dirt road and snow driving.
